Dealey (DE-1006)-class destroyer escorts as built (in USN service). The as built configuration is represented by (DE-1021) and (DE-1027) with two twin 3-in. gun mounts, one MK 108 ASW rocket launcher, or two “Squid” three-barrel ASW projectors (DE-1006 only), one MK 9 depth charge release track, six MK 6 (k-gun) projectors, quadruped foremast with SPS-6 air search and SPS-10 surface search/navigational radars, MK 63 GFCS, MK 105 UFCS, one SOG-1 sonar forward, and one SQS-2 sonar aft.

The FRAM configuration is represented by (DE-1024) and (DE-1026) with one twin 5-in. gun mount, two MK 32 torpedo tube mounts, one MK 108 ASW rocket launcher, one MK 9 depth charge release track, quadruped foremast with SPS-6 air search and SPS-10 surface search/navigational radars, MK 63 GFCS, MK 105 UFCS, and one SQS-23 keel mounted sonar. Details of the modernization varied between ships as noted below and the MK 108 rocket launchers, and Squid in DE-1006, were eventually removed on all units.
