Converted to high speed minesweepers(DMS) as they appeared between 1944 and 1946. For this release, their armament consists of three single 5-inch gun mounts, 2-twin 40mm gun mounts and 2 single 20mm gun mounts. Number four 5-inch gun on the fantail was removed to accommodate minesweeping gear and the 2 quintuple 21-inch torpedo tubes were removed as weight compensation. Minesweeping gear includes a large cable reel for sweeping magnetic mines and a smaller one for sweeping moored mines.
